But....it's time to link up with Farley for the latest currently! Love these!!
Listening: I'm blogging from "The Boneyard." It's a dog park/ adult playground! I loves this place & so does Miss G. She gets to run around & make new friends, I get to work outside and enjoy the weather....and chat up some peeps in the process.
Loving :This weather! This month in TExas is what I look forward to each year. Highs in the 70s and gorgeous skies. The bluebonnets are blooming, and everything fun is happening outside. We Texans like to take full advantage of this weather, cause highs in the 100s are just around the corner!
Thinking: My to-do list is just too long. Errands are what I'm dreading the most. I am liking being able to kind of be back in the gym. My knee rehab has gone well, and I'm released to workout lightly on this bad-boy! Exciting and exhausting at the same time.
Wanting: We just got some new patio furniture, and I'm thinking my next work location might be upstairs on the patio with a cold beverage.
Needing: Vacation. Need I say more?! Between STAAR, TELPAS, Standford, and benchmarks; I'm as mentally exhausted as my kiddos. Calgon, take me away! Cancun anyone?!
Surprise: I'm walking! I'm 7 weeks out of my microfracture surgery, and I've been re-habbing like a pro! No brace, no crutches for me anymore! AND, I'm back in the gym. Now maybe I can shed these pounds I've put on since this mess started!
Yes, the to do list is endless. I use sticky notes in my classroom to remind me of day to day stuff, but they just keep on growing!
ReplyDeletesticky notes are a great idea! I'm just afraid my room would be wallpapered with them ;)
DeleteHey, Carrie! I stumbled across your blog because of the May Currently. I'm very jealous of your Texas weather. I'm up in Illinois and while it's pretty nice out today, our weather has been far from what I would consider spring weather. I'm certainly with you on your 'thinking' and 'wanting' sections. There is SO much to do and so little of it is what I want to be doing! A little happy hour - even at 2 PM here - sounds wonderful!

Teaching In A Nutshell
Well, not too much work got done in H-town today. I had a lil' happy hour on the porch watching a derby tournament for most of the afternoon!
